Annaliese Jakimides poet and writer will join the Maskers, Chuck Smith, and Eddie Adelman on Sunday at 4:30. Annaliese is very well known and recently read a person commenatry for "This I Believe" on National Public Radio. We're so excited to have her join us.

We are now confirmed that filmmakers Julia Radochia of Arlington, Mass., JP DiSciscio of Waltham, Mass., and Heath Mensher and his Brother Mr. Mensher will be at the post brunch screening, introduce their films, and do Q & A

I wish I could say “It’s spring!!!” but it looks like good weather to be inside for the festival.

I heard from Al Creighton and the band for Saturday night: great horns and drumming cacophony: not to be missed!

Rocky Horror tickets are going fast; get them now.

Bob Ryan of Belfast has started the Bob Ryan Show on Youtube. It is outsider genius and not to be missed. Bob will show the work on Thursday night and talk over himself as he does. Unbelievable.

Tim Sample is warming up his trailer.

The movie schedule is complicated: deal with it.

The list of people to thank grows each minute: it’s impossible. There are easily over 150 people doing something, performing, editing, teaching, introducing, donating: we’ll get to them all but: thank you all. It would not be possible without you.

After party! Friday night at +/- 10:00 in the lobby of the Colonial lobby: there’s even a bar! Everyone is invited.

Last night our sound guy tripped on the amp cable and it smacked and burned. Always a little bit of fun late at night.

We got walkie talkies: now what? Can you hear me?

During the show: need help? Call 323-0881

Julia Radochia of Arlington, Ma will join us to introduce her films and do a Q & A on Sunday at 12:00 PM. She'll be here earlier than that to enjoy the show. Click to see Julia's Bio.

If you are visiting or traveling or just looking for a good chow down join us across the street from the Colonial at Zoe's (great all week too!) for a casual Sunday morning brunch @ 10:30. We'll bring the newspapers.

Listen to WERU for a broadcast on Tuesday the 8th on John Greenman's interview program for news about the festival.

President Raoul Castro was in Belfast on April 1 and it had NOTHING to do with the festival. Raoul "don't be a baby" may attend the festival.

The Mark and Tim Show "Almost LIve" will be filming and interviewing as people enter and leave Sunday afternoon. They'll be wearing tuxes and we'll have the red carpet out. The show goes out to 90,000 cable subscribers.

Scott Cannon, "Scott the Mime" will be seen somewhere around the perimiter.

Other filmmakers present? Maybe Heath Mensher, but for sure Bob Ryan of Belfast with a ground breaking premier, Josh LeMay and Alex Morrow, and who else?

We keep getting a lot of phone calls and emails from other filmmakers and performers with great ideas and films and it's just too late for this year but it sure does point to a great show for next year.

Some people see the All Access Pass for $50.00 and they think that's the only option. Not true! All shows are priced separately. The $50.00 is a bargain if you plan to attend a lot of the festival. But many things are either low cost or free. Kids cartoons for 2.5 hours are 1.00!, double features for 4.00 in the afternoon! So make sure you check the individual prices.
